DanPat Rugby is a free, independent, Italian voice. We cover rugby alongside the people who truly love it — with the expertise of those who’ve lived it and the passion of those who never stop supporting.
DanPat Rugby was born inside DanPat Sport, out of the first-hand experience of its founders on the field: matches played, live commentary, content creation and entrepreneurial projects. From there came a simple idea — Italian rugby deserved to be told from the side of those who follow it, not from the top down. So we bring that passion into the everyday storytelling of the sport: independent, knowledgeable, and always on the community’s side.
We can talk about everyone, but with respect. We only publish what we’ve verified. And we always say where a piece of news comes from.
A free voice, with no masters and independent from the Federation. We tell rugby as we and the community see it — even when it’s uncomfortable.
We criticise the performance and the choices, never the person. No cheap shots, no gossip: rugby taught us the third half.
We check our sources and always tell you what you’re reading: confirmed news, rumour, or our own opinion. We never mix the three.
The protagonists of Italian and international rugby, in studio with us. Original content, not recycled: it’s what sets us apart.
The game told in depth — tactics, stories, honest opinions. No waffle and no fake detachment.
Fast but checked. No anonymous rumours: when it’s a rumour, we say so. The trust of our readers comes first.
The community meeting in person: tournaments like the Gilbert Touch Cup, camps and group trips to live rugby together.
A group of enthusiasts, creators and professionals putting their expertise at the service of rugby storytelling. Each with their own role, all with the same passion.
The Maul is our community: events, trips and content created together with the people who follow us. You’re not a spectator — you’re part of the game. Come and join.
